The opening volume of D'Auwe's football comedy series sets the tone perfectly: on the pitch, a sliding tackle has sent the ball rolling free while a player in orange and black cartwheels spectacularly through the air, a linesman waves his flag in the background, and a bewildered coach in a trench coat throws his hands up as papers and objects scatter around him. It's a wonderfully chaotic snapshot of Sunday-league mayhem, rendered in D'Auwe's bright, expressive cartooning style.
