Fatman, a portly superhero with three identities, uses his ability to transform into a flying saucer to pursue a group of jet-powered criminals across a landscape. After nearly being struck by a steel bridge during the chase, Fatman takes a break to eat a waxed-paper-wrapped sandwich, where he encounters a park ranger and claims to be the famous crime-fighting Fatman, also revealing he is a Martian. The issue also features the character Anti-Man, described as a monstrous sea horror, and introduces Tinman as a teen-age hero created by O.O. Binder and C.C. Beck.
