Fantomet #16/1999
In "Samsons lenker," the Fantomen joins Professor Clive Cornwall on an expedition to Palestine, where the academic claims to have found the final resting place of the biblical giant Samson—and the metal of his chains, said to forge indestructible weapons. Though Cornwall is mocked, his claim draws the interest of Sandal Singh, leader of the Singh-piraterna, who funds the journey for his own ends. As the expedition ventures into the jungle, Sala Palmer-Walker and the Tvillingene accompany the Fantomen, whose presence soon becomes key when he is captured and bound by Samson’s ancient chains—only to discover they’re far from unbreakable.
