Fantomen #2/1988
In "Ondskans slott," the 13th Fantomen journeys through Germany alongside the folklorist Jacob Grimm, rescuing Miss Lorelly from a pack of wild wolves and escorting her to the eerie estate of her grandmother, Baroness Germaine Faustenberg. As Lorelly grows uneasy about her mormor’s strange behavior, Fantomen intervenes when the baroness and her spectral advisor, Father Karl Wolfgang, attempt to transform her into a werewolf. The mystery deepens when they uncover the truth: the real baroness has been imprisoned by her deceitful twin sister, Irma. Written by Norman Worker and Hans Jonsson, with art and inks by Hans Lindahl, and featuring a cover by Lindahl, this 1988 Semic issue blends Gothic suspense with folklore, all rendered in the distinctive style of its creators.
