In "Libertà," Doc Samson faces a harrowing choice when he separates Bruce Banner from the Hulk—only to see the Hulk, seemingly subdued, seized by Quartermain for permanent disposal. Though Samson frees the creature in a desperate bid to save him, the Hulk erupts into chaos, forcing Samson to vow to hunt him down and end the rampage he set in motion.
