Doom is siphoning cosmic power from Galactus in spite of Reed's warnings. He believes that he has the Fantastic Four in inescapable traps, which he is broadcasting to the world, but when he taunts Sue about raising her children when the FF are dead, she retaliates by making his mask invisible, showing the entire world his scarred face and body.
