In "Childhood's End!", the Fantastic Four face a bizarre threat when the Puppet Master creates a doll of Dr. Doom to manipulate him—only to meet a swift end. As Doom’s robots attack the team, the real Dr. Doom arrives in Latveria to reveal the shocking destruction left in the wake of Zorba’s rampage. Written and drawn by John Byrne, with inks and letters by Byrne and Jim Novak, this 1984 issue features a cover by Byrne that captures the tension perfectly.
