“Be It Ever So Humble...”

Part of Marvel's 1998 "Heroes Return" initiative, this issue puts Sue Storm front and center — and she is not happy about it. The cover by Alan Davis and Mark Farmer shows the Invisible Woman charging forward in full fury, crackling with energy, while the Thing and a flame-engulfed Human Torch lie battered behind her, with the ominous tagline "Welcome Home, Invisible Woman… Now Die!" setting an unmistakable tone. Scott Lobdell, Davis, and Farmer make a compelling case that this relaunched FF is in very capable hands.
