Issue ten of Image's Falling in Love on the Path to Hell delivers a cover as raw and unsettling as the series title promises — a battered, hollow-eyed figure cradling their own bloodied face against a backdrop of roaring flames, a hangman's noose dangling ominously above. The greens and golds of the figure's pallid skin clash beautifully against that infernal red sky, giving the whole image a haunted, almost otherworldly weight. If this penultimate chapter is building toward something, the cover alone makes a strong case for seeing it through.
