The concluding chapter of Mike Carey and Jock's Vertigo series arrives with one of the more quietly striking covers of 2008 — a close-up of vivid red lips parting around a candy heart inscribed with the word "Faker," its lipstick-traced lettering equal parts sweet and unsettling.
