Daniele Serra's cover art for this Image series delivers an immediate gut-punch: a bald, battle-worn figure clutches a blood-spattered piece of cloth while a shadowy, weapon-wielding silhouette looms in the rust-and-smoke background. The tagline "No Chance to Survive" sets the tone perfectly for Jeff Mariotte's creation — grim, grounded, and unrelenting. If issue two is doubling down on that atmosphere, this series clearly has no interest in letting readers catch their breath.
