Façades #5

Part of Éditions Polystyrène's elegant Collection Façades, this fifth entry is titled Iconodoules — a word steeped in the history of image veneration — and arrives in a richly understated package. The deep crimson cover draws the eye to a faintly glowing, gilded architectural fragment at its center, suggesting something ancient and meticulously preserved, as though glimpsed through a narrow passage of stone. With work by Wieland Bosma, this 2017 release carries the quiet, contemplative atmosphere that has defined the Façades series.
