DC's mid-90s take on a harder-edged Justice League kicks off with this zero issue, and the cover by Marc Campos wastes no time announcing the team's attitude. Five heroes burst through a shattering wall in a blaze of yellow-green energy — a frost-covered powerhouse leading the charge front and center, flanked by a figure in blue armor at lower left, a red-haired woman in purple at upper right, a gold-and-blue suited hero at lower right, and a caped figure in green and gold bringing up the rear. It's a confident, energetic introduction to Extreme Justice, written by Dan Vado with interior art also by Campos, promising that this team plays by its own rules.
