Lidia Domínguez es una pescadora que cierta vez naufragó en su bote y perdió el sentido. Cuando despertó estaba en una isla donde había un viejo faro abandonado y habitaba un farero, Esteban. Poco después de conocerse, Esteban empieza a mostrarle su tecnología visiblemente más adelantada y Lidia se queda a vivir con él. Un día son atacados por un acorazado desde el mar y Esteban le confiesa que él no es de este mundo y tienen que partir, no sin antes acabar con sus atacantes y destruir la isla.
