Extermination #2

The second chapter of Marvel's Extermination event arrives with a cover by Mark Brooks that pulses with menace — the original five X-Men in striking red suits, bound by chains and spiked barbed wire, battle alongside a towering armored figure wielding a spear, while an icy, crystalline face erupts from the rubble below amid a swirling snowstorm. The tension radiating off every face — from Cyclops's visor-lit scream to Jean Grey's fierce cry — makes it clear that the stakes for these mutants couldn't be higher. Ed Brisson's script, brought to life by Pepe Larraz's linework and Marte Gracia's moody colors on the interior, promises the same raw energy that Brooks so compellingly captures here.
