This anthology issue contains three crime stories: "Fighter Sang Tenor" follows a boxing promoter named Pike Edwards who fixes fights and bets on the outcomes, manipulating champion fighter Tony until his schemes unravel; "Take It or Else!" depicts two men named Nelson and Half-Nelson who attempt to rob passersby for a radio contest prize, only to encounter armed criminals in the same neighborhood; and "Airtight Alibi" chronicles Mike and John's criminal partnership in racketeering, with John serving two years in prison while Mike escapes, leading to John's release and attempt to settle an old score with his former partner.
