Daniel Boone sets out on a perilous journey to warn Chief He-Who-Smiles of a deadly plot by the treacherous war chief Ke-Mah, who plans to eliminate the peace-loving leader and his family. With He-Who-Smiles’ sons in danger and Ke-Mah’s forces hunting them across the frontier, Boone must guide the boys to safety while also racing to intercept the ambush set for their father.
In a tense standoff, Lieutenant Joshua Ross is captured by the Shawnee war chief Yellow Snake, who plans to execute him by arrow squad in a brutal display of vengeance. As Ross faces his fate, he devises a desperate plan to escape, using the element of surprise and an unseen ally in the underbrush to turn the tide.
