Everything's Archie #35
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 1974 installment of Everything's Archie tackles the era's gas crisis with a perfectly Riverdale twist: Archie has traded in his jalopy's engine for horse power — literally — pulling the classic car with a horse sporting a jaunty "R" hat. Betty and Veronica look on as Archie cheerfully declares he's no longer worried about the high price of gas, only to be met with the deadpan rejoinder about the high price of oats. It's the kind of warm, witty slice-of-life humor that made this series such a fun read for a quarter.
