Everything's Archie #148
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover of this March 1990 issue — penciled by Dan DeCarlo and inked by Rudy Lapick — captures a wonderfully chaotic scene: Archie is somehow simultaneously playing guitar, saxophone, and trumpet while a crowd of dancing fans fills the foreground, and the rest of the gang arrives late to the gig with a bass drum in tow, greeted by Archie's exasperated "You guys are late! I had to start the gig without you!" A marquee proudly announces "Now Playing: The Archies," setting the stage perfectly for the musical mayhem on display. It's a lively, warmly funny snapshot of Riverdale's favorite band in action.
