Archie has found the ultimate entrepreneurial loophole — a beachside ice cream stand offering free suntan oil application with every purchase, much to the amusement of the bikini-clad girls gathered around him and the bafflement of a popsicle-clutching Jughead nearby. Stan Goldberg's sunny cover captures that perfectly Archie brand of cheerful hustle, with the speech bubble asking Jughead who says you can't combine business with pleasure. Rounding things out, the corner box teases The Archies in full band mode, while a top banner promises Archie and Mr. Weatherbee teaming up against the competition in the "Early Bird Special" story inside, written by Frank Doyle with art by Dan DeCarlo and Jimmy DeCarlo.
