The fourth volume of this Dutch comics series from Syndikaat puts its bespectacled, kilt-wearing hero front and center — Evert Kwok stands in a crowd of shadowy onlookers, cheerfully holding a sign reading "PAS OP!" (Watch Out!) while a trio of robot-like riot officers line up behind him. De Blouw and Evenboer strike a wonderfully deadpan tone with this cover, balancing the cheerful obliviousness of their protagonist against the looming, shield-bearing figures at his back. It's a charming snapshot of a series that clearly delights in putting one well-meaning oddball right in the middle of escalating chaos.
