Eve: Children of the Moon #5

The penultimate chapter of Victor LaValle and Jo Mi-Gyeong's post-apocalyptic series arrives with a striking cover by Ario Anindito: Eve charges forward fist-raised, her Eye of Ra shirt unmistakable, while a younger companion clutches a worn teddy bear beside the looming white-masked robotic guardian — all of them pressing through a gauntlet of glowing-eyed pursuers. Dominating the foreground is a haunting, half-corrupted face with an unsettling green eye, casting a foreboding shadow over the group. Colorist Brittany Peer bathes the whole scene in deep purples and pinks, lending this fifth issue an atmosphere that feels both otherworldly and urgent.
