Euthanauts #2

The second issue of IDW's Black Crown series Euthanauts arrives with a quietly arresting cover by Nick Robles: a red-haired figure seen from behind, wrapped in looping wires, a vivid red moth emblazoned across the back of their jacket and a winged helmet hovering above. The restrained color palette — cool blues against that burst of red hair and the moth's striking markings — gives the image a dreamlike tension that suits a series about navigating the mysteries of death. Tini Howard's script, Robles's linework, Eva de la Cruz's colors, and Aditya Bidikar's letters continue to make Euthanauts one of the more genuinely intriguing offerings of 2018.
