Eternals #3

Esad Ribić's painterly cover for issue #3 pulls you right into the tension: a golden-armored Eternal crouches over a glowing vessel, flanked by a dark-haired companion and a wide-eyed blonde, while a massive, snarling monstrous figure looms behind them all — with a grand floating structure and a cluster of unsettling creatures lurking in the smoky background. It's a beautifully uneasy composition, Ribić's loose, atmospheric rendering giving the scene a mythic weight that feels genuinely ancient. Kieron Gillen and Matthew Wilson round out the creative team, and "Only Death Is Eternal, Part 3" promises that this 2021 series is taking Marvel's immortal beings somewhere genuinely compelling.
