Epic Kill #2

A young woman stands her ground among the massive, gnarled roots of an ancient tree — autumn leaves blazing orange and gold overhead — while two heavily armed soldiers close in from either side. Raffaele Ienco's linework and coloring give the scene a vivid tension, the warm fall palette contrasting sharply with the cold menace of the armed figures flanking her. This second issue of Image's Epic Kill promises plenty of action surrounding its outnumbered but clearly unintimidated protagonist.
