About this Collection

This volume collects the fourth story arc of the classic Western series, originally published in French as La Tribu fantôme. Written by Jean-Michel Charlier and illustrated by Jean Giraud (Moebius), it follows Lieutenant Blueberry as he navigates treacherous conflicts involving Native American tribes and corrupt military forces in the post-Civil War frontier. This edition presents the complete narrative in a single hardcover volume, part of Marvel's Epic Graphic Novel line that brought the acclaimed European series to English-speaking readers.

"Book Seven: The Long March" delivers a taut, sweeping chapter in the legendary Blueberry saga, with Jean-Michel Charlier, Jean-Marc Lofficier, and Randy Lofficier crafting a story that pulses with tension and moral weight. Jean Giraud’s masterful art—pencils and inks alike—brings the harsh landscapes and desperate stakes to life, while Évelyne Tran-Lê’s colors deepen the mood. Moebius’ iconic cover captures the grit and grandeur of the journey, a 12.95 USD (16.95 CAD) adventure in 1990 that finds Blueberry and his allies racing toward freedom and a fated reunion with their people.
