“Bomb Warnings!”

In "Bomb Warnings!", Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, takes a break from cleaning Professor Winkly’s lab to help her devoted fan Lulu organize scattered papers—only to find herself whisked away to a mysterious castle during a shipment run. There, she faces off against the monstrous Goodzillas, who’ve been playing poker in their lair, and turns the tables with a move that’s as sharp as it is unexpected. Written by Richard Howell and illustrated by Ronn Sutton, with inks by Bill Anderson and letters by Thom Zahler, this issue blends Elvira’s signature wit with a delightfully bizarre twist. Cover by Ronn Sutton.

Elvira is helping to clean Professor Winkly's laboratory. When she comes across a pile of papers she takes them to Lulu, her #1 fan, to organize. Elvira goes to the dock to pick up a shipment for Professor Winkly, but the shipment and Elvira are stolen, then delivered to a castle by truck. Inside, Elvira encounters the monster mob members, Goodzillas, playing poker. Elvira, literally, beats them at their own game.
