Elvira Meets H.P. Lovecraft #5

Dynamite's 2024 crossover event reaches its fifth chapter, and this cover by Dave Acosta makes a bold case for why it's been so much fun — Elvira stands front and center in her signature black gown, coolly surrounded by a menagerie of squirming, tentacled, multi-eyed Lovecraftian horrors that erupt from the pages of an open tome. Looming above it all is a glowering spectral face with burning red eyes, casting an ominous purple haze over the whole chaotic tableau. Writer David Avallone and artist Kewber Baal round out the creative team for this penultimate chapter, promising that the Mistress of the Dark's brush with cosmic dread is heading toward one deliciously weird conclusion.
