Elvira in Monsterland #3

Elvira is fully in her element here, perched at a vanity table and giving a very hairy, very monstrous hand a meticulous manicure — nail polish bottles at the ready — while a gargoyle figure watches from beside the mirror and a moonlit window frames the whole delightfully eerie scene. The subtitle Bangs, Fangs & Talons says it all, capturing the playful, horror-comedy energy that makes this Dynamite series such a treat. It's a wonderfully absurd premise rendered with real charm, and issue #3 looks like a highlight of Elvira's 2023 Monsterland adventure.
