Gerben Valkema's bold linework and vibrant red palette give the whole scene an irresistible, kinetic energy that perfectly captures the chaos of adolescence. Eric Hercules and Valkema clearly have a real feel for their spirited heroine, and this 2019 entry from Uitgeverij L looks like a thoroughly entertaining ride.
