Elsje #6

Elsje is back in Robo Sapiens, the sixth album from writer Eric Hercules and artist Gerben Valkema, and the cover sets a wonderfully playful tone. Our curly-haired heroine in her red shirt stands center stage, surrounded by an array of mechanical robotic arms while multiple reflections — or perhaps robot doubles — of Elsje peer in from either side. Valkema's bright, clean cartooning makes this a genuinely fun package that fans of all-ages European comics will want to pick up.
