This sixteenth volume of Soleil's Elfes series, subtitled "Rouge comme la lave," continues Jean-Luc Istin's expansive fantasy world with art and inks by Kyko Duarte and colors by Olivier Héban, whose rich, deep palette gives the 2017 release a genuinely dramatic atmosphere. Fans of European dark fantasy will find this installment hard to pass by.
