Elephantmen #10

This June 2007 Image Comics issue puts the towering, battle-scarred rhino-man known as Unicorn front and center — his scarred grey hide, single horn, and imposing bulk filling the entire frame in a portrait that feels equal parts menacing and melancholy. Starkings, Moritat, Comicraft, and Ladrön bring a raw, painterly intensity to this installment of one of Image's most visually ambitious series.
