Part two of "Always Bet on Red" arrives with a cover by Elizabeth Torque that's nothing short of arresting — Elektra rendered in elegant profile, her expression cool and unreadable, while a cascade of playing cards fans out beside her, each one illustrated with vignettes of other Marvel characters caught mid-action. Surrounding her in the ornate, Art Nouveau-inflected background are glimpses of red-haired figures and other costumed players, suggesting a world of competing agendas swirling just beyond her gaze. With Matt Owens writing, Juann Cabal on art, and Antonio Fabela's rich colors inside, this "Running with the Devil" chapter promises that wherever Elektra's game is headed, the stakes are anything but low.
