El Hazard: The Magnificent World #1

This volume collects the first half of the manga adaptation of the classic anime series El-Hazard: The Magnificent World. It follows the adventures of high school student Makoto Mizuhara and his friends who are transported to the fantastical world of El-Hazard, where they become entangled in a conflict between the ancient civilizations of Roshtaria and Bugrom. The story is adapted by Hitoshi Okuda and was originally serialized in Japan before being published in English by Viz Media in 2002.
