El Carno #[nn]

From Gringo Comics, El Carno bills itself as "A Sebastian Sommer Flick," and the cover makes good on that pulpy promise — three scrappy gunslingers, including a boldly dressed female outlaw front and center, stand their ground against the enormous shadowed silhouette of what appears to be a carnivorous dinosaur looming behind them. It's a wild-west-meets-prehistoric-terror mashup that wears its grindhouse influences proudly on its sleeve. If you're in the mood for something brazenly off the beaten path from 2013, this one delivers the goods.
