The Spider-Verse's anthology tradition returns in fine form with this 2022 opener, promising four distinct Spider-characters across its pages — Spider-Man Noir, Araña, Spider-Laird, and the wonderfully absurd Spider-Rex. Josemaria Casanovas's cover sets the tone beautifully, depicting a goggled, trench-coated Spider-Man Noir brandishing a pistol alongside a red-and-white costumed Araña, both poised on rocky terrain while a massive crimson T-Rex looms dramatically behind them. It's a striking assembly of wildly different corners of the Spider-Verse, and with Dan Slott steering the ship, there's every reason to dive in.
