Stephen Graham Jones's Earthdivers continues its "Ice Age" arc with this ninth issue from IDW, and Rafael Albuquerque's cover sets an immediately gripping tone — a lone, cloaked figure crouches on a blood-stained rocky shore, spear in hand, face-to-face with a massive, imposing walrus, while a towering glacier looms in the cold mist behind them. The tension between the small, vulnerable human and the enormous animal feels elemental, a quiet standoff against a vast, indifferent frozen world. Albuquerque's linework and atmosphere make this one of the most evocative covers in the series so far.
