Rafael Albuquerque's cover art captures that vertiginous, gut-dropping sensation of someone utterly at the mercy of gravity — or fate. Colorist Joana Lafuente's cool, muted palette gives the whole image an eerie stillness that makes "1776" in the subtitle feel all the more unsettling.
