Earth 2: Society #3
This third volume of Earth 2: Society collects issues #13-17 of the 2017 DC series, continuing the saga of the surviving heroes from the destroyed Earth 2 as they struggle to build a new world. The story follows Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman of this alternate reality as they confront new threats and political turmoil, including the emergence of a mysterious new power that challenges their fledgling society. Written by Dan Abnett with art by Bruno Redondo and others, this arc explores themes of rebirth and identity in a world literally being remade from scratch.
In "A Whole New World, Part One," Earth 2’s heroes convene in a fragile alliance, seeking unity amid lingering distrust. Hawkgirl brings Fury to the gathering, where the Amazon leader pledges to share her people’s resources—inspired by Alan Scott’s courage—while unseen threats stir beneath the surface. Written by Dan Abnett and illustrated by Federico Dallocchio, with colors by David Calderon and letters by Travis Lanham, this issue unfolds with quiet tension and rising stakes, all framed by Jorge Jiménez’s striking cover.
