Dwergen #22
The twenty-second volume of Daedalus's long-running dwarf saga arrives in 2024 with "Borogam van de mout," and Paolo Deplano's cover immediately sets a compelling tone: a powerfully built, red-bearded dwarf grips a broad-bladed axe in the foreground, his expression brooding and resolute, while a smaller, bald companion crouches nearby amid a lively encampment of tents and banners beneath a stone tower. The ornate golden stonework framing the right side of the cover hints at deep dwarven heritage, lending the whole composition a rich, saga-worthy gravitas. With Nicolas Jarry and Dieter Van Tilburgh on writing duties alongside the detailed linework of Deplano and Giovanni Lorusso, this installment looks every bit as inviting as the series' devoted fans have come to expect.
