A battle-worn dwarf king commands the cover of this 2021 Daedalus release, seated on an ornate throne with a massive axe at his side and a fearsome dragon sculpture looming behind him — every detail radiating authority and hard-earned power. Jean-Paul Bordier's cover art renders the character with striking presence, from his elaborate facial markings to the rich fur and red cloak draped across his broad frame. "Brum van de zwervers" promises an entry in the Dwergen series with real weight to it, pairing Nicolas Jarry and Dieter Van Tilburgh's storytelling with Bordier's richly detailed linework.
