Durango Kid #5

The Durango Kid story "Trees of Death" follows the hero as he pursues a criminal gang seeking gold hidden in a remote area. When the gang uses Native Americans to attack by felling trees as weapons, the Durango Kid devises a counter-strategy using the forest itself against them. After escaping through the strawberry bushes and changing into his Steve Brand identity, he reunites with his sidekick Muley and confronts the gang leader, ultimately bringing the criminals to justice while recovering the stolen gold.
