Durango Kid #5

The Durango Kid encounters a gang of criminals and poisonous crooks who are after gold hidden in the area. The story features a trap involving trees rigged to fall on attackers and an ambush by Native Americans, with the Durango Kid ultimately escaping to his hideout where he changes into his roving cowboy persona Steve Brand along with his sidekick Muley. The issue concludes with Steve Brand being drawn into a conflict with a criminal named Red Claw and his gang, including the antagonist Jeb Hardon, as the Durango Kid works to bring the killers to justice.
