The issue contains two stories. "The Durango Kid" features the masked gunslinger confronting criminals during a circus performance, where a sharpshooter named Debbie demonstrates her marksmanship skills and the Durango Kid manages to stop the villains' scheme. "Dan Brand and Tipi" is a Revolutionary War-era tale in which Dan Brand and his Native American companion Tipi navigate conflict with British Redcoats at Concord, with Dan facing personal conflict over a Royalist relative who has called his father a traitor, while the Durango Kid demonstrates his heroic problem-solving by creating a clever diversion using a horse and stage as a comedic escape plan.
