Durango Kid #17

This issue is an anthology containing two stories. In the first tale, the dying Tex Danbar reveals to the Durango Kid that his real name is Steve Brand and asks him to take over his mission as an agent of justice. The Durango Kid accepts the responsibility to continue protecting the helpless people who depend on him. In the second story, "Dan Brand and Tipi" battle a sinister group called "The Secret Force," who attempt to intercept a ship near the American coast; Dan Brand and Tipi must stop the villains' plot to change their plane's course and crash it.
