Scrooge McDuck sits at the head of a conference table, cane in hand and looking decidedly uneasy, while a roomful of suspicious-looking vulture businessmen eye him from all sides — and a mysterious silhouetted figure with a top hat and a glowing question mark looms in the doorway behind him. The story title "The Beast in the Board Room!" promises that whatever boardroom intrigue is afoot, Scrooge has walked straight into it. This 2018 IDW issue, with cover art by Marco Ghiglione, captures the animated series' knack for blending corporate scheming with genuine suspense in a wonderfully compact image.
