Drifter #9 brings the same atmospheric intensity that has made this Image series so compelling, with Nic Klein's cover painting a haunting scene of a forest consumed by towering, radiant flames — deep reds and burning golds cutting through an otherwise pitch-black landscape. The pixel-dot title treatment floats above the inferno like a corrupted signal, reinforcing the series' blend of sci-fi unease and frontier grit. With Iván Brandon writing and Klein handling virtually every visual element inside as well, this 2015 issue is a strong showcase of two creators working in close, confident sync.
