Drifter #13 brings Ivan Brandon and Nic Klein's gritty sci-fi western to a fierce crescendo with a cover that practically crackles with urgency — a wounded woman clutches a futuristic rifle and screams defiantly into the chaos, two armed figures looming out of the blazing amber background behind her. Klein's painterly cover work bathes the scene in molten golds and deep blues, with a fragmented pixel motif framing the tension beautifully.
