Drax #7

Issue seven of Marvel's Drax series brings a wonderfully chaotic energy to its cover, with a sword-wielding figure at the center of a tumbling mass of wildly diverse alien creatures — green-skinned beings, a frog-like creature with red eyes, a small helmeted alien, a pink-haired figure, and a lizard-like creature scrambling across the top. Scott Hepburn's linework gives the whole pile-up a loose, kinetic feel that's bursting with personality against a vivid pink-and-orange abstract backdrop. CM Punk and Cullen Bunn's collaboration on this 2016 title clearly leans into the stranger corners of the Marvel cosmos, and this cover sells that offbeat adventure with real charm.
